Pray about everything.
Hello there, today I would like to share something I am sure you’ve heard several times before. I have also heard it, too, over and over, but God used this moment to stamp this into my heart.
Alright, here’s my story, so I usually go to the market to shop for foodstuffs and groceries for my family early on Saturday mornings. By 6 a.m., I am out and on my way.
So one Saturday not too long ago I get ready as usual.
Now, as I got into the car, I proceeded to pray: I always pray specifically before driving out. But on this day I was prompted to also pray concerning my shopping. I prayed that I would buy from the right people, that I will be a blessing to someone just as I knew others were going to be blessings to me, I prayed also to be led to the right places and the right vendors. And then I went out.
In one of the shops where I bought groceries, after the cashier had rung up my bill, I commented to the young man who usually helped me carry my things, just how expensive things were getting after I heard my bill.
This is where it got interesting, I paid, and the goods were bagged, and the cashier was supposed to move on to the next customer. For some reason, he didn’t. Just when we were leaving, he called me back and said he had miscalculated, and somehow the machine had doubled the prices. So, I had inadvertently paid two times more than I should have paid.
Can you believe that? He proceeded to make the corrections, refunded my money, and I left.
But I was so elated.
And I knew it had everything to do with my short but heartfelt prayer that morning.
It was God showing me that he cared about everything that concerned me and showed up because I invited Him.
It was God telling me nothing is too small to let Him be a part of.
Because a lot of times we feel some things are too minor for us to involve God, He found a way to tell me He wants to be involved.
Listen, don’t let anyone convince you that God is too busy for the ‘mundane’ aspect of your life. He created you. He loves you, and He definitely cares for you.
And remember, we have to invite Him into our lives for Him to get involved.
I would have lost that money otherwise, but He said not today.
He caused the young man to go over the bill and found the error. Doesn’t matter what it is or how small you think it is.
Is it about your child’s milestones? Pray
Is it about peace in your heart? Pray
The electric bill? Pray Don’t know how to handle a difficult neighbor? Pray.
Remember the scripture Matthew 10:30? ‘[30] And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

The very hairs. He who has time to do that has the time and love to be involved.
Get him involved and pray about the seemingly little things.
